Operation Open Season works with local High School Shop and Agri programs to design and build hunting blinds. These blinds are donated at no cost to land owners who are willing to allow a wounded veteran, or child suffering from a disability, to hunt a minimum of one day per year from the blind. Land owners are under no obligation other than the one day hunting opportunity. Land owners are responsible for picking up the blind from the school and transporting it to their property. Operation Open Season and participating schools are not responsible for the blind or any maintenance of the blind once you take possession. At the time you take possession, the blind is considered your property and you can make any modifications to the blind that you would like.
If you would like to help support Operation Open Season and receive a FREE BLIND, you can register by clicking the attached link FREE BLIND. Request for blinds are processed in the order in which they are received. You will be notified once your blind is completed and ready to be picked up from your participating school.
